Texas: At least 26 killed in Sutherland Springs church 06 Nov 2017 02:45 GMT At least 26 people have been killed and 20 others injured in a mass shooting inside a church in Sutherland Springs, in the US state of Texas. The shooting took place on Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Wilson County during the 11:00am (17:00 GMT) service, officials told reporters. Sergeant Robert Murphy of the Guadalupe County Sherrif's office confirmed that the shooter was deceased. Officials later told reporters that the suspected gunman was found in neighbouring Guadalupe County dead in his vehicle, but it was not yet clear whether he was killed or died from a self-inflicted wound. Texas Governor Greg Abbott told reporters that at least 26 people had died. Those who were killed ranged in age from five to 72 years old, officials said.
