US & Canada,After congratulating the Democratic candidate, Doug Jones, for winning the
Alabama election , Trump wrote some tweets critical of the Republican candidate and his loss.
US President Donald Trump has distanced himself from Roy Moore with a series of tweets after the Republican suffered a historic defeat for the party in conservative Alabama.
The loss also narrows the Republican majority in the Senate to 51-49, which could complicate Trump's future legislative plans.
